From Image-Bearers to Algorithms — Robbing the Next Generation

I want to give a bit more of my background before I start this, even though I know that this could lead to exposing myself more than I am honestly comfortable with. For most of my life roughly the last 25 years of it at least I have been enamored with technology and the progress that has been made with it. For a very long time each step was fascinating to me. I wanted to see more, I wanted to do more with it, and I wanted to own all of it. I made a career out of this passion and now work as an IT Solutions Engineer, this was purely out of passion as I have no formal schooling. At the same time God gifted me with a distrustful nature, I have been hesitant to trust anything without proof, the way that always makes me chuckle is when God was setting my defaults he set trust to “Really?“

Over the past several years, I have been watching as things move forward as they always do I have seen the “slow“ march of progress hit a fever pitch, As I have watched this God has used my distrustful nature to correct my misguided love of Man’s creations to a love for God’s creations and our co-creations with him.

I know that I have already lost a lot of people with those two paragraphs with all the talk about God and Creation. For all of you who are still here I hope I can provide something with the words that I have put to paper below. I am not here to appease everyone and I know that the majority of at least the Western world has been molded to hate everything about God and anything that talks about him, you don’t have to trust me on this one but, I know this at my core with formally being molded and manipulated in the same manner.

We have all seen some story about what everyone is calling Artificial Intelligence AI(which I will do so here even though it is a misnomer for what is truly LLMs Large Language Models, which do not truly think instead from what we know of them they simply find patterns and patchwork a response from the human materials online to formulate a response). AI is supposedly a miracle technology which is going to discover cancer earlier, make our lives easier, take everyone’s jobs, monitor everyone ever second of everyday, choose whether you can drive your car, and so much more.

Just to start, AI is strange with it’s release since we do not see infinite claims about how it is going to create a brighter future for the individual, we do not see the claims coming in from every direction that it is going to do everything for an individual and make every aspect of the individual’s life better. They have always had these claims, with the printing press people where able to read more, with electricity we would not be tied to the solar cycle, with industrialization we would be able to produce more and everyone could live in abundance, with phones everyone would be connected to everyone else at all times and the world would learn empathy for everyone. These claims do not exist with AI, the mask has slipped, the claims are no longer about how they are going to make the individual’s life any better but how it is going to make the richest people richer, how it is going to allow more governmental control of each individual citizen. Just to back up a few of the points let’s go through just a couple of stories which I am sorry to say might be disturbing but I feel we must look at reality.

UPS has steadily been working on replacing workers on every front with AI driven automation, 43,000 positions at the time of the article in a 3 year time frame. They have been actively working to eliminate as many jobs as possible opening new distribution warehouses which are close to fully automated, for context the total US UPS workforce before the introduction of AI was in-between 400,000-500,000 in 2020, with the ramp up with AI Automation they cut roughly 48,000 jobs in 2025 alone. Maybe I am misguided but that does not seem to be benefitting the individual worker all that much but instead padding the pockets of the shareholders.

Waymo, an autonomous rideshare option, has landed in multiple major cities in the US Austin, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Houston to name a few. There are mirrors with this introduction and the introduction of Uber in the early 2010s, hourly payrate in these cities is steadily dropping for the drivers in these cities increasing the amount of time each of them have to work in order to make the same amount of money that they previously would have. The biggest difference with this introduction is this service has no individual that is working to survive, to put food on his families table, to buy his daughter that one present that she asked him for. Instead this time we are handing all of our money over to an out of touch oligarch that simply intends to put all the money away out of nothing more than greed.

As if the two previous examples do not establish the point well enough this isn’t about specific industries, the stated goal is to destroy every side of the job market for individuals no one is safe, these are simply the canaries in the coal mine laying motionless under our torch light while we ask is there a gas leak? The canary expired a couple of years ago but we have all been too self absorbed in our own personal algorithmically created dystopian Hell to notice. They have been telling us directly for years now that we are going to be replaced by the new cheaper slaves.

Last year alone there were multiple articles written about AI replacing nearly half of all entry level white collar jobs, and spike unemployment to 10-20%, that is just from white collar jobs, and to place that into perspective the unemployment rate during the Great Depression was not much higher at ~25%. Where does that leave us? If 50% of all entry level jobs are eliminated where does that leave all the college graduates that we told “You have to go to college to have a good life“. Leaving alone the fact that this has been a lie for decades, what position does this put them in now? They did what they were told to do at 17/18 years old listened to their parents, signed up for dozens of thousands of dollars in debt, just to finish and be considered worthless by the job market. It has been our job to protect them and we are feeding them to a wood chipper. This is not fair to them, we have allowed these people and this technology to create the conditions to balloon the homeless populations by dozens of times. We did not protect these children and many if not all of them are going to be treated like they should have known better. Many if not all of them will be treated like they are the problem when we allowed this and fed them to the system to be told that they are worthless. How can we live with this? How can we justify killing the next generations future so that we could buy the next trinket on the internet for 10% cheaper. It’s disgusting and I am ashamed of all the generations that allowed these kids to be discarded in such a sacrilegious manner and I know that many in each generation want to get defensive, I am in my mid 30s and I have met plenty of people that will say, “but who’s fault is that?“ It is our’s, It is the parent’s, It is the companies that we are allowing to do this, It is the governmental bodies that are just trying to herd us like cattle to a slaughter. We need to look in the mirror and own up to our mistakes. The west is not just the baby murder capital of the world, Boomers to Millennials have sacrificed everyone that are coming after them destroyed community, destroyed the family, all for SHINY THINGS. This is retarded and everyone in all of these generations need to hear it. THIS IS BLASPHEMOUS and we all need to face it. THESE GENERATIONS INCLUDING MYSELF NEED TO SEE THAT WE HAVE TURNED OUR BACKS ON OUR DUTIES HANDED DOWN TO US BY GOD AND SACRIFICED WHAT IS MOST PRECIOUS TO HIM FOR THE SAKE OF GREED.

I am sorry I may have gotten a bit into the weeds with the ranting for a moment there but I feel it needs to be said, bluntly, Boldy, in no uncertain terms, we all need to see it. I know most of my generation don’t care, most of Gen X will pretend like they did nothing wrong, and most Boomers will say “You just have to ______“. But we are all wrong and we have to face the sins that we have committed. Without facing them we can never repent and I am praying that we can all repent of these.

I walked away for a couple of weeks to let this simar down, I do not like to get that animated and I don’t know that it is good form or write for it to be communicated in this medium. That being said I stand by what I previously wrote and I feel that it all is true and needs to be said more. I feel like this meme speaks volumes of what society has been through the past few decades at the very least but arguably much much longer.

We humans as a whole do not seem to ever ask the question why, It’s like we all completely missed the point of of remembering the story of the Trojan horse. If something ever seems too good to be true, that is because it is. There is always a hidden cost behind all of it.

So many are so enamored with watching AI cat videos, using it to do their work for them, or any other number of menial tasks that should not be seen too much for a human to do. No one ever seems to stop to ask the question why are the companies spending/losing so much money to give this to me for free?

There is a reason that all the richest people in the world are working tirelessly on this, there are reasons that the same people who visited Little Saint James, Zoro Ranch, the Bohemian Grove, and speak at Burning Man regularly all have a hand in this. As with any of the other theories that have been proven to be true over the years it will get you laughed out of the room if you say it out straight.

There is a reason that all our apps are free, there is a reason that you get “cheaper“ Insurance if you sign up for the safe driver options, there is a reason that there are thousands of “free“ VPNS out there, there is a reason that the government is forcing AI kill switches into cars, there is a reason there are cameras everywhere, there is a reason that everything must be connected to the internet all the time. And no matter how hard we try to ignore it there are reasons all of this is happening exactly the way it is. We may not like the path that we are going down but we are the only ones on the planet that can stop it.

I pray everyday that God will find a way to solve this so that the Constant Tracking, Government control over our children’s lives will not come to pass. I hope that he come soon to fix it. Until then I will continue to do my part and tell as many people as I can about it no matter how I get looked at. God created me the way he did for a reason and if the only reason is to be okay with being the single naysayer in a room full of sleeping Yes’s I will do it. It is not a popular job but I am reminded of Jeremiah, I can not say I am as strong or as good a man as him but I hope I can be. I hope that God can use me and my words in a way that will help the vulnerable that we have been cannibalizing for many generations too long in our society. I don’t know what more I can do outside of my immediate circle than throwing these rants into the void, but I pray that it is helping someone somewhere somehow.
